RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Facilitate the smooth movement of shipments by coordinating capacity, ensuring timely delivery, and exceeding customer expectations

• Contribute to our business growth by assisting in expanding auto-assigned loads and supporting our business development initiatives

• Manage shipment capacity by liaising with carriers, negotiating rates, and making informed decisions to meet specific load requirements

• Utilize user-friendly internal tools to manage capacity procurement within established cost parameters and competitive market rates

• Collaborate with internal teams to understand carrier data, making informed decisions to support our shipment processes

• Foster new relationships with carriers through market research, outreach efforts, and thorough account qualification

• Maintain and nurture existing carrier relationships by communicating effectively, understanding their needs, and exploring growth opportunities

• Build a strong internal network, collaborating seamlessly across departments to streamline operations

• Support automation initiatives to enhance carrier activities, driving efficiency and innovation within our logistics processes

• Uphold high-quality service standards across all tasks, ensuring exceptional delivery outcomes

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• High School diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs

• Ability to persuade, motivate, negotiate, and influence others

• Ability to thrive under deadlines and work in a team environment, while also delivering independent results

• Strong prioritization skills, multi-tasking skills, and works with a sense of urgency

• Site Specific: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
