C.H. Robinson’s Accounts Payable team is a fast-paced, process-driven environment, responsible for multiple facets of the Accounts Payable function. The Associate Accounts Payable Representative will be responsible for ensuring invoices are routed, processed, and paid in a timely and efficient manner. They will research problems and resolve standard disputes in order to ensure important deadlines are met.

Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Process supplier invoices in accordance with Service Level Expectations (SLAs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Assist with data loads

  • Research and resolve all past due balances or standard disputes

  • Communicate with employees and suppliers to resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner

  • Review past due invoice balances

  • Help process month end close

  • Provide timely escalation of issues requiring support from Accounts Payable Supervisor or Manager

  • Participate in department projects and company initiatives as required

  • Continue to develop skills and build upon knowledge of Accounts Payable processesOther duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent

  • 0-1 year of experience in Finance operation

  • Fluent in written English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs

  • Ability to perform in a dynamic, ever-changing environment

  • Solid attention to detail and ability to work well within a deadline driven environment

  • Perform functions efficiently and accurately

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Positive, professional attitude and customer service skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
